How to describe the feeling when you find your work in the „Best of 2016” app selections presented by Google? And what’s more, in “Most Innovative” section? It’s rather a good one. We couldn’t find a more awesome piece of news at the beginning of 2017.
How actually Google chooses them, the “best of”? I’m quoting: “We’ve assembled the apps we couldn’t keep to ourselves, the ones that kept us glued to our screens, apps that topped the charts, and the apps that brought out the beauty in the world around us.”
We are all gone red now, just can’t handle the number of superlatives in a single sentence. You might be wondering, what is all that fuss about?
HelloFresh is an international (yet still with a touch of start-up) food company focusing on healthy diet and family cooking, with local branches in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, and Canada. Every week, HelloFresh delivers a box of delicious recipes and the exact amount of fresh ingredients you need to cook them at home. So they say “no more” to wasted food! I’m sure a vast number of us would appreciate this idea. To deliver the best client experience, HelloFresh needed to launch mobile apps on most popular devices, which would allow users to create shopping lists and order them online. And that’s the moment when Miquido showed up. We are very happy to work and support HelloFresh with mobile and web solutions – now used by hundreds of thousands of customers every day.
You might think that I’m exaggerating a bit, yet I think I’m not moving too far, when making a statement: HelloFresh is a real e-commerce/m-commerce unicorn fitted with solutions admired even by the big shots 🙂 To spice it up even more, HelloFresh, supported by Rocket Internet, raised €85 m on December 20, 2016, for global expansion.
